Fox Deluxe (Unlisted)

Recently discovered 1936 opening instruction can, this is the only example known to exist. According to the United States Beer Cans with Opening Instructions book by Kevin Lilek, this Fox Deluxe beer can was shown in an advertisement for the 1936 issue of Brewer’s Journal . Because of a production problem at the Chicago National Can Co. plant, it was thought this particular can design was cancelled. However, it was noted that National Can Co. shifted all future can production to their New York plant. This Fox Deluxe can does have the New York Distributor listed at the bottom-front of the can. This is the first time this can has been pictured as an actual can that was produced!
